Even More About Willie

Hiya! I’m Willie. I’m currently a philosophy PhD student (third year) at the University of Toronto, in the lovely city of Toronto, Ontario in Canada. Aside from school, food and cooking are two of the most important aspects of my life right now. What can I say—I love eating and I love making what I eat!

I have been a vegetarian since 2007, and I’ve been experimenting with veganism since 2009. I’m currently strictly vegan, after being “mostly vegan” for a long while, and I’m finding that this diet works really well for me—my body feels great, and so does my tummy! Other than food, I also enjoy jogging, biking, swimming, books, theatre, music, movies, crossword puzzles, games, and public radio. Toronto is a great city for many of these interests, and I love experiencing all the city has to offer me!

  1. Hi Willie
thank you for taking the time to include the Present Moment Cafe in your blog.
I am always interested in my customers reviews and I find it a wonderful teaching tool for my staff. That said, can you describe the waitress that Tuesday evening when you had a universe drink and the gal was not attentive. It would help me to continue to give better service. Next time you are in town please come by and ask for me….I will make you the best cacao shake on the house.
